Water and Wildlife in the Chihuahuan Desert
Call for Photography at EPMArch Lobby Exhibit
Water plays a vital role in the desert ecosystem. We invite photographers to submit their work that captures the connection between water and desert wildlife. Your photographs will help us tell the story of the delicate balance that keeps these ecosystems thriving.
Important Dates:
- 12/15/24 - 1/4/25: Call for Photos.
- 1/18: Notification of acceptance.
- 1/21 - 1/25: Framed Photos Drop-Off.
- 1/31/25: Sneak Peak/Reception.
- 2/1 - 8/2: Exhibition on Display.
- 8/12 - 8/16: Pick Up. (Artwork not picked up after 2 years becomes property of the museum.)
Guidelines: (Must adhere to Call for Photography timeline and guidelines to be considered.)
- Total Size Including Frame: 11x14 inches to 20x16 inches.
- Photos must be printed.
- Frames and Hanging: Photos needs a d-ring/wire or sawtooth for hanging.
- Theme – Photos must be focused on wildlife of the Chihuahuan desert. Only photographs, no other mediums will be accepted.
- Photographer may enter up to 5 images.
- Submissions must be original photographs captured by the photographer. The use of AI-assisted enhancements will not be considered. Basic adjustments for exposure, contrast, color balance, and cropping are allowed but excessive manipulation of the original image is discouraged.

- 1/18: Accepted photographer’s will be notified.
- 1/21 - 1/25, Tues-Sat, 9am-4:45pm: Framed Photos can be delivered to EPMArch at 4301 Transmountain.
- Framed photos must have Entry Form (included in acceptance email) attached to the back of their work when dropped off.
- Selected photographs may be used for marketing, promotional, and educational purposes.
